Abstract

“Dijital Medyada Televizyon Dizilerinin Değişen Zaman ve Mekân Kurgusu: (Puhu TV) ‘Şahsiyet’ Dizisi Örneği” başlıklı lisansüstü tezi yeni nesil internet yayıncılığı platformlarından biri olan Puhu TV’de 2018 senesinde 12 bölüm olarak yayınlanan Şahsiyet dizisini ele alıp inceleme amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmanın çıkış noktasında bilgi çağını yaşadığımız günümüzde değişen televizyon yayıncılığının, gelenekselden dijitale geçişiyle dizileri ne şekilde etkilediği -bu etkiyle birlikte postmodern anlatım olanaklarının dijital platform dizilerinde ne şekilde anlatım imkânı kazandığı konusu bulunmaktadır. Şahsiyet dizisi gerek anlatım dili, gerek kurgu ve diğer tüm özellikleriyle postmodern dizi olarak tabir edilebilecek diziler arasında konumlanmıştır. Gerilim-korku türündeki dizide postmodern zaman ve mekân kurgusunun ne şekilde ilerlediği, klasik medyadan farklı olarak dijital ortamın sunduğu imkânlar çerçevesinde zaman ve mekân kurgusunun yapısını aktarmak amaçlanmıştır. Lisansüstü tez çalışması üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde tüm bölümlerin özeti kapsamında bilgilere yer verilmiş; araştırmanın konu, kapsam ve önemini içeren sistematik yapılanmadan bahsedilmiştir. Birinci bölümde dijital medya, dijital dönem öncesi ve sonrası olarak ele alınmıştır. Bu çerçevede modernizm ve postmodernizm bu bölümün ana konu başlıklarıdır. İkinci bölümde tarihsel süreçte zaman ve mekân örüntüsü ele alınarak tezin inceleme alanı hakkında literatür sunulurken, üçüncü bölümde ise tezin vaka çalışması olan Şahsiyet dizisi incelemesine geçilmiştir. Bu çalışma yeni nesil televizyon dizilerinin postmodern anlamdaki anlatım imkânlarını ortaya koyması adına literatüre katkı sağlamaktadır. This graduate thesis titled "The Changing Time and Space Editing of Television Series in Digital Media: (Puhu TV) Example of ‘Şahsiyet’ Series" has been prepared for the purpose of examining the “Şahsiyet” series, which was broadcast as 12 episodes in 2018 on Puhu TV, one of the new generation internet broadcasting platforms. The starting point of the study is how the changing television broadcasting has been affected by the transition from traditional to digital in today's age of information, and how the sources of postmodern expression gained the opportunity to explain itself in digital platform series. The Şahsiyet series has positioned itself among the series that can be called a postmodern series with its expression language, fiction and all other features. In the thriller-horror type series, the way that the postmodern time and space setup progresses has been conveyed within the framework of the features, that are different from traditional media, offered by the digital environment. The postgraduate thesis study consists of three parts. In the introduction, information has been given within the scope of the summary of all sections; systematic structuring including the subject, scope and importance of the research was mentioned. In the first part, digital media is handled in two different contexts as before and after digital era. In this context, modernism and postmodernism are the main topics of this chapter. In the second part, the literature about the study area of the thesis is presented by considering the time and space pattern in the historical process, and the third part, the backbone of the thesis, is examined.
