Popüler kültürün etkisi altında Türkiye'de sinemanın durumu ve izleyici alışkanlıkları

Abstract

Bu tez kapsamında, gün geçtikçe kitleleri etkisi altına alan popüler kültürün Türkiye’deki sinema endüstrisiyle olan ilişkisi ve sektördeki olumlu ve olumsuz etkileri değerlendirilmektedir. Popüler kültür kullanımı dünyayı küresel bir köy haline getirirken sanat, medya, edebiyat, müzik ve sinema alanlarını da doğrudan etkilemektedir. Dünyanın herhangi bir yerinde ortaya çıkan popüler bir akım sosyal medya kullanımı sayesinde bütün dünyayı etkileyebilmektedir. Bundan Türkiye’nin küçük bir kasabasında yaşayan bir insan kolayca etkilenebilirken diğer taraftan o insanın hiç adını dahi duymadığı bir ülkenin vatandaşı da benzer ölçülerde etkilenebilmektedir. Dolayısıyla üretim anlamında bir tek tipleşmeyle karşı karşıya kalınmaktadır. Üreten kişinin unvanının sanatçı olmaktan çıkıp ünlü olma yoluna girmesiyle de üretenin ve ürünün nitelik olarak içinin boşaldığı ve daha sığ ve birbirine benzeyen üretimler yapıldığı gerçeğiyle karşı karşıya kalınmaktadır. Fakat bir diğer taraftan bu durum üretimin çoğalmasını ve dolayısıyla sektörlerin özellikle teknik ve ekonomik anlamda gelişip kendi içerisinde bir yarış halini almalarını ve popüler üretim yapmayan sektör üyelerinin de bu sayede gelişebilecekleri ortamın oluşmasını sağlamaktadır.Within the scope of this thesis, the relationship of popular culture, which is increasingly influencing the masses, with the Turkish cinema industry and its positive and negative effects on the industry are evaluated. While the use of popular culture makes the world a global village, it also directly affects the fields of art, media, literature, music and cinema. A popular trend emerging anywhere in the world can affect the whole world through the use of social media. While a person living in a small town in Turkey can easily be affected by this, on the other hand, a citizen of a country that person has never even heard of can be affected to a similar extent. Therefore, we are faced with a uniformization in terms of production. When the title of the person who produces ceases to be an artist and becomes a celebrity, we are faced with the fact that the producer and the product are emptied in terms of quality and more shallow and similar productions are made. On the other hand, on the other hand, this situation leads to the proliferation of production and thus to the development of the sectors, especially in technical and economic terms, and to the creation of an environment in which the members of the sector who do not make popular production can also develop in this way.
