Moda tasarımında trompe L‟oeil tekniği ve beden olumlama algısı

Abstract

Geçmişten günümüze kadar birçok kaynaktan ve sanat akımlarından etkilenen moda, özellikle son zamanlarda sanat akımlarından etkilenmiş ve sürekli kendini yenilemiştir. Moda ilk zamanlar sanatın dışında tutulmuş olsa da yirminci yüzyıl itibariyle sanat akımları modayı doğrudan ve dolaylı şekilde etkilediği görülmüştür. Araştırmada incelenen sürrealizm sanat akımının bir parçası olarak nitelendirilen trompe l‟oeil tekniği; Fransızca kökenine dayanan, aldatma sanatı olarak bilinen ve iki boyutlu düzlemde yansıtılan şeyin üç boyutlu olarak algılanmasını düşündürmeyi sağlayan tekniktir. Araştırmanın konusunu; moda ve sanat kavramları çatısı altındaki trompe l‟oeil giysi tasarımlarına yansıma durumu, trompe l‟oeil tekniğiyle uygulanmış kadın giysi tasarımları ve sürrealizm akımıyla trompe l‟oeil tekniğini kullanarak gerçekleştirilmiş bir kapsül koleksiyon uygulaması oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacını; sürrealizmin trompe l‟oeil tekniğiyle beraber kullanımının moda dünyasındaki yeri, trompe l‟oeil tekniğiyle gerçekleştirilmiş kadın giysi tasarımlarının araştırılması ve giysi tasarımlarındaki beden olumlama algısını trompe l‟oeil ilkelerinden ilham alınarak yapılmış kapsül koleksiyon oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın önemini; moda, sanat, sürrealizm, trompe l‟oeil ve beden olumlamayı bir araya getirerek, moda dünyasında yeni bir estetik dil ve anlam katmanı oluşturduğunu göstermektedir. Araştırmanın sınırlılığı ise; sürrealizm bağlamında kullanılan trompe l‟oeil ilkelerinden ilham alınarak oluşturulmuş giysi tasarımlarından ulaşılabilen kadın-erkek giysi tasarımları ve araştırmacı tarafından trompe l‟oeil tekniğiyle beden olumlama algısından ilham alınarak uygulanan kapsül koleksiyon tasarımı oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın türü niteldir ve literatür taraması yapılarak oluşturulmuştur. Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 programında çizilerek renklendirilmiş, teknik çizim ve kumaş materyali ile desteklenmiştir. From the very early days of the history, fashion has been influenced by resources and art movements, it has particularly been affected by art movements recently and has continuously renewed itself. Altough art and fashion have been two seperate ideas, after twentieth century it has been observed that art movements have directly and indirectly influenced fashion. The trompe l‟oeil technique that has been examined on this paper is a French technique considered to be a part of the surrealism art movement, known as the art of deception, which enables something depicted on a two-dimensional surface to be perceived as three-dimensional. The subject of the research consists of the reflection of trompe l‟oeil clothing designs under the concepts of fashion and art, women‟s clothing designs applied with the trompe l‟oeil technique, and designing a capsule collection using the trompe l‟oeil technique within the surrealism movement. The aim of the research is to investigate the place of surrealism's use with the trompe l‟oeil technique in the fashion world, to explore women‟s clothing designs made with the trompe l‟oeil technique, and to create a capsule collection inspired by the usage of trompe l‟oeil techniques to contribute to the perception of body positivity in clothing designs. The significance of the research is demonstrated by bringing together fashion, art, surrealism, trompe l‟oeil, and body positivity, creating a new aesthetic language and new perspective to the fashion world. The limitation of the research consists of designing women‟s and men‟s clothing inspired by the trompe l‟oeil principles used in the context of surrealism, and creating a capsule collection that uses the perception of body positivity using the trompe l‟oeil technique. This research is qualitative in nature and was created through a literature review . It was designed and colored in Adobe Illustrator CC 2017, and supported by fabric material.
