T Necrotizing fasciitis more often occurs in patients with diabetic vasculopathies, in those who are immuno-compromised, or in those exposed to blunt or penetrating trauma. Aggressive debridement and salvage of the relevant extremity are important in the treatment to prevent patients from entering sepsis. In this case report, we describe a 66-year-old male patient with diabetes mellitus who developed necrotizing fasciitis after a mosquito bite.
