Stratejik Yönetim Düşüncesine Yeni Bir Bakış Açısı: Evrimsel Oyun Kuramı

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temel sorunsalı stratejik yönetim, evrimsel oyun teorisi ve örgüt ağ kuramları çerçevesinde şekillenmiştir. Bu araştırma, örgütlerin nasıl strateji belirlediklerini ve hangi durumlarda bu stratejilerin kararlı denge durumu oluşturarak “stratejik konvansiyon” haline geldiğini araştırmak için yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, stratejik konvansiyon olgusunun sosyal bir olgu olduğu ifade edilirken, “sosyal yerleşiklik” kavramı ile stratejik konvansiyon kavramları ilişkilendirilmiştir. Bu çalışma, aynı zamanda ağ düzeneği formundaki stratejik karar alma yapıları ve oyun dengeleri arasındaki ilişkileri de belirlemiştir. Yapılan oyun teorisi uygulamaları, iş birlikçi dengenin sağlanması için bu faaliyetlerden elde edilen değerin yatırım maliyetlerini ve güven riskini ortadan kaldıracak nitelikte olması gerektiğini ortaya çıkarmıştır.

he main problem of this research is formed around the strategic management, evolutionary game theory and organizational network theory. The aim of this study is to investigate how the organizations set their strategies and in which circumstances these strategies constitute a stable equilibrium and thus turn into “strategic convention”. The present study defines the concept of strategic convention as a social phenomenon and associates the concept of “social embeddedness” with strategic convention. Furthermore, this study sets out the relation between the strategic decision making structures in the form of a network mechanism and game equilibrium. Game theory practices revealed that the value obtained from such activities should be capable of eliminating the investment costs and reliance risk in order to recover the cooperative equilibrium.
