    DEAHB olan bireylerin psikolojik sağlığı ile ilişkili faktörlerin incelenmesi

    Bu çalışma dikkat eksikliği ve aşırı hareketlilik bozukluğu tanısı almış erişkin bireylerin yaşamda karşılaştıkları zorlukları, bu zorluklarla baş ederken ne gibi stratejiler oluşturduklarını ve bu stratejileri oluştururken kimlerden destek aldıklarını araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma için DEAHB tanısı almış 21- 35 yaş aralığında 4’ü kadın 7’si erkek olmak üzere toplam 11 kişi ile yarı yapılandırılmış sorular eşliğinde yüz yüze görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular yorumlayıcı fenomenolojik analiz yöntemi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda 4 ana tema ortaya çıkmıştır. Bunlar; (1) yaşamdaki zorlular, (2) dikkat eksikliği ve aşırı hareketlilik bozukluğu ile baş etme stratejileri, (3) dikkat eksikliği ve aşırı hareketlilik bozukluğu ile baş etme stratejilerini keşfetme yolları ve (4) strateji geliştirirken destek alınan kişiler/kaynaklar olarak belirlenmiştir. Yaşamdaki zorluklar üst temasında ön plana çıkan alt temalar; (a) unutkanlık (b) arkadaşlık ilişkilerinde zorlanma, (c) ders dinleyemem, (d) başarısızlık ve (e) dikkatsizliktir. Dikkat eksikliği ve aşırı hareketlilik bozukluğu ile baş etme stratejileri üst temasının alt temaları ise (a) eşyaların yerini sabit tutma, (b) sistematik ilerleme, (c) arkadaş desteği alma ve (d) yapılacaklar listesi oluşturmaktır. Dikkat eksikliği ve aşırı hareketlilik bozukluğu ile baş etme stratejilerini keşfetme yolları üst temasının alt teması ise kendi kendine öğrenme olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Son olarak strateji geliştirirken destek alınan kişiler/kaynaklar üst teması altında aile alt teması yer almaktadır. Elde edilen bulgular alanyazındaki bilgiler ışığında tartışılmıştır. This study aims to investigate the difficulties that adult individuals who are diagnosed with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder face in life, what strategies they form while dealing with these difficulties and who they get support from when developing these strategies. Face-to-face interviews were conducted with a total of 11 people, 4 of whom were women and 7 were men, between the ages of 21 and 35 who were diagnosed with ADHD. The findings were evaluated using the interpretive phenomenological analysis method. The analysis result emerged in 4 super-ordinate themes. These are ; (1) life difficulties, (2) strategies to cope with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, (3) ways to explore strategies to cope with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, and (4) developing strategies by the support of the people. Sub-themes that come into prominence in superordinate theme of life difficulties are (a) forgetfulness, (b) difficulty in friendship relations, (c) inability to listen to lessons, (d) failure and (e) inattantion. The sub-themes of discovering the ways of copping with the difficulties of ADHD super-ordinate theme are (a) keeping the location of the items fixed, (b) systematic progress , (c) getting support of friends and (d) creating a to-do list. Learning by yourself appears to be the sub-theme of super-ordinate theme of ways to explore strategies to cope with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder. Lastly under the Super-ordinate theme of developing strategies by the support of the people / resources is the family sub-theme. The findings are discussed in the light of the information in the literature.
