    Kuzey Kıbrıs'ta 1970-2015 yılları arasında popüler müzik akımlarının tüketim yönünde değişimi

    Popüler kültür olgusuyla birlikte müzik endüstrisinin bir parçası olan popüler müzik, kültürel olgularla bağlantılı olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu araştırma Kuzey Kıbrıs sınırları içerisinde, popüler müzik tüketiminin 1970-2015 yılları arasındaki görüntüsünü ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Araştırma evrenini oluşturan müzik marketler ile “Görüşme Yöntemi” uygulanarak, bulgular ortaya çıkartılmış ve elde edilen bulgular ışığında durum analizi yapılmıştır. Popüler müzik olgusu çeşitli yıllara ve toplumsal olaylara göre değişkenlik göstermektedir. Bu değişkenliğin sebepleri ve sonuçları Kuzey Kıbrıs evreni ile sınırlı olarak açıklanmıştır. Popular music, which is part of the music industry together with the popular culture, emerges in connection with popular cultural phenomena. This study analyses the image of popular music consumption between the years 1970-2015 within the borders of Northern Cyprus. By applying the “Interview Method” with the music markets that constitute the population of the study, the findings were revealed and the situation analysis was made on the obtained findings. The consept of popular music varies according to age and social events. The reasons and consequences of this variability constitutes the limitations of this study and the Northern Cyprus population which is the target population of this study.
